Meet Patty

John L. Scott Coeur d'Alene’s Patty Muhlhauser has worked as a real estate broker her whole adult life. She started as an agent in 1994, and three years later opened up a brokerage with her mentor. In 2005, she became an associate broker in this brokerage and eventually sold the real estate company in 2011 when her business partner retired. Shortly after this, Patty joined John L. Scott as managing broker of the Coeur d' Alene office. Now, she works with broker Danielle Watson on The Muhlhauser/Watson Team, assisting buyers and sellers in Coeur d'Alene and surrounding areas.

As someone who was born and raised in the Coeur d' Alene area, Patty is honored to help people with one of their most important life decisions of buying or selling a home or land in the local community. Patty and Danielle are focused on putting their clients first and helping them reach their goals. Long-lasting relationships are the name of the game for Patty and Danielle – the duo truly cares about helping clients through the real estate process but also with anything that may arise after the transaction has been completed.

Patty has been involved in the 4-H organization since she was eight years old – first as a member and now as a beef and sheep leader. She lives just north of Coeur d'Alene on a 15-acre farm and enjoys raising cattle and horses, spending time with her family and horseback riding. Patty lives on the farm with her husband Justin and they have two daughters, two son-in-laws and three grandchildren.

Meet Danielle

Danielle Watson works with Patty Muhlhauser out of John L. Scott’s Coeur d'Alene office. Together, they form The Muhlhauser/Watson Team and serve clients across northwest Idaho, specializing in residential, waterfront, vacant lot and investment properties. Danielle joined Patty in 2001, after being drawn to the industry by the prospect of personally connecting with others, building trust and providing excellent customer service. Nearly two decades later, Danielle loves helping people meet their real estate goals, turning happy customers into forever clients.

The Muhlhauser/Watson Team’s clients appreciate their focus on trust throughout the real estate process, and many of Danielle and Patty’s clients are referral clients, which is a testament to the team’s dedication to client service. Danielle and Patty often help clients buy or sell in Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, Rathdrum, Athol, Hauser Lake, Twin Lakes, Sagle, Spirit Lake, Blanchard and Harrison.

When she’s not working, Danielle can be found volunteering for charitable events, playing golf or boating on the beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene. Giving back is very important to Danielle and she supports many causes including local Idaho education and Camp Journey at Ross Point, a camp for children with cancer. She is inspired by her family, her community and her faith.

Coeur d'Alene

Many Pacific Northwesteners have visited Coeur d’Alene in the summer for the fantastic water activites on Lake Coeur d’Alene, or in the winter for skiing at nearby resorts. But those who live here know that the beauty of the city and its surroundings lasts year round, as does the friendly spirit of the people. Located on the Idaho panhandle, not far from both Spokane, Washington, and Sandpoint, Idaho, Coeur d’Alene is a vacation destination, but it’s also a growing city with an ever increasing number of full-time residents. The city itself sits on the shore of the Lake of the same name, and both are surrounded by the Coeur d’Alene National forest, a beautiful evergreen paradise that spans more than 1,100 miles and three Idaho Counties. Coeur d’Alene is a prime location for outdoor lovers. The lake provides boating, kayaking, swimming, water skiing, and even lodging. That’s right, visitors can rent house boats or pontoons that are both cozy and luxurious. The Coeur d’Alene resort is a favorite destination, and is home to one of the United States’ finest golf courses. The 14th hole is especially unique—the green is on a moving, floating platform—the only one in the US. Winter sports are a popular attraction in Coeur d’Alene as well. Skiing and snowboarding at world-class resorts are just minutes away. And with our wet, cold winters, fresh powder is common!
